I am part Irish, Scottish, French with a little German thrown in there. Ya call me a mutt...I am used to it! Haha. Yes, I am as old as my profile says. Though I don't act my age so I am told. (I think that is a good thing). I am currently into Graphic Design and I studied to be an Electronics Tech. I ran a gay club for two years. I am also a club DJ. I keep very weird hours DJing and fitting other work in. I basically sleep here and there when I can.
I am quite often misunderstood. I am quiet and shy and it takes a bit of time for me to warm up a person. There are a lot of people that take those characteristics the wrong way. The think that I am standoffish or rude. I am one that is a big believer in "me space". I find it keeps me grounded and, allows me to have some control of my life. Rather than rushing to squeeze my responsibilities in whenever I can. I used to be a huge bundle of stress which of course led to some mental illness. So organizing my life the way I do isn't being anal. It is being smart.
I have really become involved in mental illness. It is a disease that is often overlooked. If you are one that knows nothing about it, are not willing to learn about it, or look at it as a chance to taunt others.....we are in no way going to get along. Some people are born with it and, as I have found, it can strike at anytime. It is something that I would not wish upon anyone and I feel instead of making fun of it, you learn something about it. That way you are somewhat prepared if it ever strikes someone close to you.

All in all I am a laid-back, easy-going kind of guy. Just average, nothing flashy or in your face. I am masculine and, I prefer guys I date to be fairly masculine too. It is not that I don't get along with femme guys, it is rare that I date them. I am looking for a long term relationship ideally. My last three relationships have all been over 2 years. I believe that if you are dating a person you only date one person. That you are getting to know that person instead of dating a few to find out which one you like better. I don't do open relationships. Not that they are wrong, it's not me.

I enjoy photography, I enjoy looking at and commenting on the creativity in everyone's pics and am not here just to see pics for a thrill. I know it sounds weird and, it is hard to get people to believe that but, I know it is true and that is all that matters! :)
