I don't think I need to explain why I like Shakira. The woman is an unstoppable force! She has the looks and the talent. She is my favorite female singer!
My favorite member from the Irish Pop band, Westlife. He is an amazing singer, his voice stands out from the rest. PLUS he is a very handsome lad! My favorite male singer.
Evanescence was the first rock band I fell in love with, and the only one I would actually kill for. Amy makes the band come to life with her voice. She is gorgeous too!
Sacha is an amazing singer. His melodies and lyrics are heart breaking yet healing at the same time.
Films I Like:
Let's see...
Resident Evil 1&2
Silent Hill
Brokeback Mountain
Grave of the Fireflies
Pan's Labyrinth
V for Vendetta
The Matrix Trilogy
Spirited Away
Bad Education
Underworld
Blade
and so much more....

Hello, I am Francisco but you can call me Fran. I am 20 years(i-22-90) old and I live in Chicago Illinois. I am on this site for the simple reason of getting to know new people. I am in no way interested in "hooking" up, I am here strictly for friendship.
I am an art student, even though right now I can't afford to go to college. Everything I know when it comes to life is very little, I want to learn more. I want to know what other people's lives are like and I want to show people what my life is like.
I have dreams and aspirations just like everybody else. I want to be a famous artist one day, I want to be a public figure. I want to see the world!
It's been a while since I've updated this blog with anything other than Shakira.
It ends today. lol
It's been a year since I decided that I wouldn't drink soda anymore and it's been almost 8 months since I've been watching what I eat. Add 6 months of working out and you you get the brand new me....tah-dah *applause*. Kidding, I haven't changed much, at least I don't feel too different. I do feel better about myself, I don't get body aches anymore AND I don't need to catch my breath every time I go up my stairs (12 steps). I have seen a small difference in the clothes I wear, the shorts I use to wear all the time, now kind of fall off. GRANTED, they were big to begin with, but before they use to hang on to something, now they just fall. UGH, writing this down is hard without making this seem like such a big deal, but it kind of is for me. I just wish someone in my life would step up and join me in this adventure because doing it all alone is hard and it does get lonely, but i try my hardest to keep my eyes on the prize, the prize being a "better" me of course.
ANYWAY, I use to weigh somewhere around 350-360 lbs. I'm not sure cause I never weighed myself. All I know is that when I ended up in the hospital last summer due to an infection, the nurse told me me that on a scale with the capacity of 345 lbs...I wasn't even on the scale. THAT was a new low for me....but anyway now I weigh 245 lbs. I'm losing somewhere between 3-4 lbs a week give or take a few. All I'm doing is watching what I eat and when I eat it. I walk/ run every other day...and that seems to work for me. And I'm thankful.

Shakira meets with President at White House (2/26/10) [View | Hide]
Artist and activist Shakira met with President Obama and Vice President Biden at the White House today to discuss their shared interest in early childhood development and universal education.
“It was such a privilege to sit down with the President in the Oval Office to discuss our shared commitment to education and early childhood development. We agreed that investing in our children is the smartest strategy governments can use to boost economic growth, fight poverty, and promote global security and peace,” said Shakira. “We will be working closely with the President and his staff to implement his vision—for Latinos, children in the United States, and around the world."
“I briefed the President on the progress made this year through ALAS with the heads of state of Latin American governments, and explained that we have made early childhood development a central topic of discussion during the next Ibero-American Summit to take place in Argentina later this year.”
Shakira and President Obama first met at his inaugural ceremonies last January. Before the meeting with President Obama, Shakira met with members of his staff where she inquired about the status of government policies to legalize 11 million undocumented immigrants who live in the United States. White House officials told Shakira that they are working hard to find a solution, and said they hope to reach an agreement this year with the Republican Party to legalize the undocumented immigrants.
Shakira also met with a group of the President’s advisors on education, national security, and social innovation. Members of both Obama’s and Shakira’s teams agreed to convene again next week to advance specific ideas to develop early childhood development programs among the Hispanic community in the United States.
The Colombian artist is a leading activist for children and the founder of ALAS, a coalition of Latin American artists and business leaders advocating for comprehensive ECD programs. She’s on her way to the World Bank to announce a groundbreaking $300 million initiative with World Bank President Robert Zoellick aimed at expanding development programs for young children in Latin America and the Caribbean. Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs provide children with adequate nutrition, healthcare, and stimulating environments from the moment of conception through age 6—a period of development crucial for achieving a child’s full potential. The initiative will help expand ECD programs in a region where 9 million children under 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition and 22 million lack access to early basic care.
The Colombian singer ROCKED it at the NBA ALL-STAR halftime show tonight outshining both Alicia Keys and Usher! She was simply AMAZING. Watch the performance @ http://www.shakiramedia.com

OMG it's already Christmas and in a few days it will be a brand new year! It went by soooooooo fast, even though they all seem to do so. Looking back I can say it was a good year, not the best cause im still alone but not that bad either, oh well. Kind of excited about the new year though, new music and new games and hopefully a new lifestyle <3 anyway there is my little update, hope all of you are well.
I just watched one of the most meaningfull movies ever, at least in my life. MILK. I recomend this movie to anyone & everyone who wants ALL American men & women to be equal regardless of sexual orientation or gender. After watching this film, u might want to do something to help out, u can do so. With something as little as making a blog entry and passing on the message because we cant afford to let ourselves be silenced. Everybody can make a difference, much like Harvey Milk.
oh wow, its getting nice and cold around here. Right now im in bed, thinking about so many things I assure you that youll hear about it later TRUST ME!
PS. I am more excited than ever for Shakira`s SHE WOLF cd. I will write a review for it when it comes out :B
the computer died :( so my updates everywhere will come by very slowly but surely :)
Don't Keep Too Many Secrets (8/25/09) [View | Hide]
I just want to say that when there are so many secrets, in any kind of relationship, be it a romantic one or a friendship ANY kind... it never ends well. Especially when the person you are keeping the secrets from has to find out through another person what has been happening.
I hate that. In a friendship, if it's truly a friendship you should be able to say what you feel and do what you want. You don't have to keep shit from each other. I know that on my end of ALL my friendships I try my best to be open about anything. Nothing I say or do is really THAT much of a secret. There are things I rather not talk about, but those things are rare and very personal.
I don't know where I was going with this but I think you might know what I'm talking about.
