Interests/Hobbies
Obviously music. Collecting Gay Cinema. Collecting film classics on DVD.
Music I Like:
My musical tastes range from Anita Baker to Arthur Baker. From Ice Cube to Vanilla Ice. From Nirvana to The Impotent Sea Snakes. From Miles Davis to Satoshi Tomiie. From Sylvester to Rupaul. So, I guess you can say I'm all over the place. But my all time favorite vocalist is Billie Holiday. Her recording of "I'm A Fool To Love You" is brilliant.
Films I Like:
I love comedies. I am also a fan of some SCI-FI, Documentaries, and dramas. My all time favorite comedy is a toss up between "Young Frankenstien" and "Airplane". My favorite gay film is "Relax, It's Just Sex". And the best drama is "Dangerous Liasons".
Literature I Like:
I don't read as much as I'd like to. But the last book I read was a collection of short stories by Annie Proulx (the author of "Brokeback Mountain". I don't have many books, but two of my favorites are "May I Kiss You On The Lips, Miss Sandra?" by Sandra Bernhard and "I'm On My Way" by Christopher David.
TV Shows I Like:
I don't watch much TV. But when I do, I watch shows like "Nip/Tuck", "Six Feet Under", "Grey's Anatomy", "Queer As Folk", "The Ali G Show". (I know, I know....most of these are all off the air, but if i hear of something that's like them I'll watch it.)

aboutDJRELENTLESS
Spinning the Soundtracks of Our Lives
DJ Relentless, originally from Tampa, Florida, came to New York City in 1992. Experienced and versatile, DJ Relentless has had no trouble finding work. You can currently find him manning the decks at Escuelita on Sunday nights for Harmonica Sunbeam's Tea Dance. Relentless has been the resident DJ and the musical director for the Harmonica Sunbeam Tea Dance at Escuelita Nightclub here in NYC for several years where hip hop, R&B club remixes and voguing and runway beats are the de jour for the hip hop and Ball Community that patronize Escuelita. Relentless is also proud to be a resident DJ at the Cedar Brook CafÃÂé nightclub in Westport, CT which is currently the oldest LGBT bar in the US. In past years, DJ Relentless has been a resident DJ at a few other well know venues around town: The Monster; Therapy; Barrage; XES Bar and Lounge; Posh Bar; The Web and at the Circuit in Asbury Park, NJ. In recent years, DJ Relentless has been a two time nominee for âÃÂÃÂDJ of The YearâÃÂàat the Glammy Awards and had the opportunity to djing for the Glammy Awards this past March at Webster Hall.
Outside of his disc/video jockey work, DJ Relentless has been sought after by many, for various music related projects: Jayms Blonde Secret Agent 69, Online Zine; Musical Director for Harmonica Sunbeams Sunday Night Tea Dance and Escuelita; Music Director for several voguing and runway Balls in the Ball Community; Sound and Musical Director for the play Happy Birthday Madame Alberta produced by ZenBizness, LP and Jackson Anubis Productions.
To satisfy his desire to give back to the community that has given him so much, Relentless has done pro bono DJ work for various benefits for community based organizations such as the Harvey Milk School at Hedrick Martin Institute and for Black Pride NYC, Inc. to name a few.
With over 20 years of DJ experience under his belt and a mind filled with musical knowledge and history (a la the endless file cabinet in Joe Almighty) and with several more projects in the works, DJ Relentless is definitely a name to look out for.
