Support CourageCampaign.org in it's effort to repeal Prop 8 on the 2010 ballot...
Equality under the law cannot wait...
Get involved today...
And write a check - $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 - for whatever amount you possibly can...
The extremist neocon right wing is counting their cash to - again - out-spend us by marketing it's lies and hate...
We must ALL cough up a few bucks - if you want equality under the law, you'll skip one or two Saturday night drinks and give that $20 to CourageCampaign.org to fight for us...
And be certain to get all your friends to do the same...
We can win, but only if we're motivated enough to take the win...
Remember all your anger and energy from the days and weeks following election night...?
You took to the streets in protest, you signed petitions, you donated, you talked about equality...
Here's the thing - by then it was too late...!!!
Recapture that moment and move on this thing right now...
Sitting around bitching the day after isn't gonna win your freedom...

i wish i could vote for your proposition 8 ...but i live in south africa..our constitution allows us equal rights as far as marriage is concerned...we also have strict laws governing discrimination on the basis of any sexual orientation...and i can only say ...what a difference ...prior to 1994 we lived in a police state and now it has become the most normal thing in the world ....so i really hope you guys are successful ....lol...it's worth the fight...kas

My countryman, Kasian, is right. Yes, South Africa's constitution is a beautiful protection against discrimination of all kinds. But we as gay men (and lesbian women) still don't have EQUAL rights in regards to marriage. It's still a civil union here. The Marriage Act hasn't been changed to include same-sex marriage (because of the staunch opposition from the conservative religious right during the public participatory process). South African society is still quite conservative despite the very liberal constitution, So while we have made huge steps...we still have a lot of work to do ourselves.

so I understand the fact that everyone has a different politcal, religous, spiritual moral view but this whole idea of NOT "allowing" same sex coupled to mary is crazy. If you dont agree with ones choices fine ok I kan partially understand that but it NEEDS to be THEIR choice!
