On May 2nd, Asbury park is throwing a ZombieWalk. (Why May 2nd, I'm not sure and I don't particularly care)
For those of you who haven't ever participated in a zombie walk, it's a fairly simple process. Dress like a zombie, walk like a zombie, go to the after party to watch zombie movies and drink heavily.
A number of bars and restaurants across town running drink specials and zombie-only discounts, free parking for walk participants, free admission to the afterparty which includes free beer for 21+ till the kegs dry out.
for further details go to www.asburyparkzombiewalk.com.

Ok...so some of you have shared your
top 3 faves. Great picks guys! BUT..
we know there's a lot of bad ones
out there too. Care to share the
hate ?
SCARECROWS ( Alls I can say is...WHY?)
THE GRUDGE SERIES ( Remakes of crappy films? Again......WHY?? )
THE ROOST ( Guaranteed to put a hardcore tweeker to sleep with a quickness ! )
HALLOWED GROUNDS ( See my first entry.)
CAMPFIRE TALES ( I personally apologize to any psychotic tranny murderer who was offended by this
piece o' crap! You have the RIGHT
to be "properly exploited" in
a horror film just like the
rest of us ! IMHO,Stefan Arngrim
as the "sissy as antichrist" in
FEAR NO EVIL** is one for my team!
Let's hope Hollywood does right
by you soon my Sistamen & Brothagirls ! )
** This film is also bad. But bad
in a GOOD way. AND...it has a great soundtrack !
Hee hee!

In terms of bad foreign remakes, why not put "One Missed Call" on your list?

Do you really consider 28 Days Later a horror movie? I don't really put it in this genre.
What does everyone else place this in?

Top 5 Worst is much easier than picking favorites. Here goes!
5.) Urban Legend: Bloody Mary
4.) Halloween III: Season of the Witch (the only Halloween that I dont consider to be a Halloween film)
3.) One Missed Call (remake)
2.) Hostel (and Im sure there are many arguments with this one but to me, it was a pointless movie)
1.) Asylum of the Damned (terrible and unintentionally hilarious)

I can pretty much agree with your top favs, especially scream. It was such a good scary movie especially in a time when most of the ones coming out were crap. The entire trilogy is great all linked together (2 wasn't all that great but in my opinion was necessary as a prologue to scream 3 to show how everyone got to where they were in the third one and to set up the final act). Scream one was great as a stand alone and the sequels were made so well. when me and my family saw scream three in theaters my mom made a joke about how thats me and my sister in 15 years.

Hahaha! You are so right!
I cant really make a favorites list. It would be way too long especially with all the subgenres. There are so many different films to choose from.
Halloween (and ALL of the sequels/remake) would have to be my favorite. After that... I couldnt really say.

Has anyone seen this movie which is produced by Brian Singer? This is a limited release with special screening this week. It looks cool, but I'm wondering if it's just another cheesy wanna-be-classic... specially for an anthology.
