What's your favorite travel destination? Whether it's the bars and clubs, the gay-friendly atmosphere, or the exotic culture, what makes a certain place so great?
I'll start...my favorite place that I've been to is a place called Kashgar, which is in China. It is the most "out there" place I've ever been to, and it was awesome seeing how different my American culture is from other places on Earth! |

My favorite place is Siem Reap, Cambodia. It is the town closest to Angkor Wat. I was taken up to Phnom Kulen by some guides I hired and we were the only people up there checking out the 12th century animist statues. What made the trip really fun was hanging out with my guides. They were Kampuchean and in there 20s, unaware of how attractive they were and very fun. They took me to a hidden buddhist temple in a cave inhabited by snakes and swallows. Also, we all swam in a sacred waterfall that still brings me luck. Weird but very cool & true! | |
