What does everyone think of this month's Obama cover stories in "The Advocate"? The magazine presents two different takes: 1) Obama's relationship with the LGBT community was a one-night stand and 2) The LGBT community isn't organized well and we're expecting too much in too short a time without doing much to push our own agenda. Have a cawfee, tawk, no big whoop. | |

Obama has a lot of work to do with the LGBT community. He did not do us any favors when he signed off on a report defending DOMA, but I believe he will do a lot in the next four years. I still have faith that he will deliver on removing DADT, DOMA, and passing the Matthew Shepard Act and anti-discrimination legislation. If he cannot accomplish even a hand-full of his promises, I will reconsider my support for his re-election bid in 2012. | |

Hey, everybody...The Advocate's Editor-in-Chief is running a marathon to raise money for AIDS Project LA, which supports people living with HIV and AIDS in the Los Angeles area. He's only $244 away from reaching his $12,000 goal!!! If you have a few bucks to spare, please support him and APLA!
