It wasn't until recently I heard Ciara's (ft. Young Jeezy) "new" song, "Never Ever", and it's a hell of a lot like "The Chain".
What really chaps my ass is that this song is wildly popular now... Who ever thought it was a good idea to remake a Stevie classic, nonetheless, get away with it??? I say we get together and call in to the radio stations and have it banned! There is and will only be one Stevie Nicks! And no one can out do her! :) |

Obviously, this is a difficult thing to measure, but let's speculate anyway. Certainly the other members of Fleetwood Mac gave her a run for her money, but that Stand Back performance on SNL really proves Stevie has them beat in this category.
I also think the power combo of Scorsese/Liza Minnelli/DeNiro on the set of New York, New York probably managed to do more than her, but they were working as a three person team, so that's a little unfair. |

To even mock Stevie Nicks in such a sarcastic, condensending, and ignorant way as you just did is bordering on blaspheming against her amazing talent! I have bitten my tongue since the day you wrote this, but, not any longer.
Stevie Nicks' talent is in her lyrics and her unmistakable, unduplicable voice. Not her drug addiction. Because, we ALL have a past. If you want to get into drug addiction you have a hell of a lot of nobodies in hollywood right now that are complete fuck-up druggies. Pick on them... But, leave Stevie alone. Alright...I'm wasted enough pearls. :) |

I love this woman, and it is because of her that I am an out and proud gay man. And there is no one like her. Has anyone seen her in concert? I have seen her twice with Fleetwood Mac and twice on solo tours. What is your favorite song? Mine is Stand Back. | |
