invest your money in the insurance instead. apple will tell you pretty much anything that has happened to it is not a result of its manufacturing but a result of misuse, i.e., cracked screen. face it: cell phones lead a different life than computers do. | |

Anybody out there teather their iPhone to their computer for computer Internet access? Any issues? Apple used to have the app available for $9 but they don't have it any longer but there are ways around.... was wondering about the pain involved. Thanks in advance for any info. | |

Hey.... Brian Here... For some dumb reason tethering is not legal in the US. It is legal in other countries but since other phone companies charge $30 a month to have that additional amenity. See this page for more details... (read the small print by tethering) http://www.apple.com/iphone/softwareupdate/

I have to tell you, it is as stable as OSX, too. I have the original iPhone, though. It's what pushed me to go for a macBook in the first place. It's love in my palm... |

I love my iPhone. I have to say the App Store is the best thing about it. I also like that my mobile me stuff is synced with my phone. | |

I got the 3G in Black with 16 gigs (14.6) haha. And I'm running a ibook G4 that has had a memory upgrade to run Leopard. I couldn't imagine being stuck on a pc. | |
