It felt great to carry the banner for Iraq Veterans Against the War in the Equality March in DC. It was a very inspiring experience. It was also great to meet Lt Dan Choi and talk with him, as well as Alex Nicholson, founder of Servicemembers United who was very very nice.

My bf of 2 years left me for a woman(weird part was he was strictly bottom). I met him outside of the military but we were friends for a long time first(way before I joined the military). How do I meet someone in the military or out of it if I'm trying to keep my sexuality a secret so I can keep my military career? | |

I can't believe how open some of my fellow service members are on here. there was recently a crack down where people who were "out" on networking sites were chaptered out. I don't dare use my name, show an Identifiable pic, or say where I am. I love being in the military, but until Prez Obama lives up to his promise D.A.D.T. still has me worried. | |

is it just me or does everyone constantly ask you if u have a gf. I always make up something but its sooo hard sometimes not to just tell ppl I'm not into girls. I know the one time I do ppl are never gonna let it go. I can't understand why str8t ppl think its such a terrible thing to be gay. But all Army guys ever do is talk about their girl friends. | |

Just tell them that you're too focused on your career right now to be involved with any romantic entanglements. That always worked for me, but I was also a workaholic in the Navy. | |
