I dont know why people bitch so much about Vista. Im running a custom version of Vista. It's Windows Vista Extreme Edition R2. It's a souped up version of Vista Ultimate.
Yeah sometimes theres driver compatibility issues, but now that Vista has been released for a few years Im noticing less and less issues with newer hardware/software. Like most of you guys, I built my own computer, and it's pretty kickass if I do say so myself. Heres what Im workin with. Intel Triple-Core Phenom Processor 16Gb Ram 2x1TB Seagate Hard Drives 4 32x DVD/CD Burners all with LiteScribe. ATI Radeon 9000 with HDMI 52" 1080i flat screen monitor Put it all together for a little more than $1200 bucks, and thats including the flat panel TV that I use as my monitor. Screw going to Alienware, build your own, its the cheapest way to go!! |

Finally Microsoft shipped a downloadable beta version of its rereshed live suite. There's a lot new and the messenger interface is gonna be very cool.
The beta includes Live Mail Beta, Live Messenger Beta, Live Photo Gallery Beta, Live Writer Beta and Live Movie Maker Beta. Just check it out at the official link below. http://download.live.com/ |

I love MS Vista. I built my computer. That's the only way to do it. :)

Mine is an AMD Athlon 5000+ Asus M2N VM-HDMI - 3 GB RAM DDR2 Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 512 Ram Monitor LCD HP w2207 Vista Ultimate 32bit I think i'll convert my OS to 64 bit as soon as i can. :) |

I found via rss feed a very cool collection of Vista Wallpapers at Mike Swanson's blog.
He did a lot of shots on his own and a few of them were chosen to be among the default Vista wallpapers.
