I'm KyUnderwear, Underwear Correspondent for the website UndiesDrawer.com.
The site is a men's underwear blog, focusing on what's new, what's hot, what's on sale and where to find online men's underwear of all kinds, including boxers, briefs, trunks, jocks, thongs, and boxer briefs. We'll even throw in a Speedo or other swimwear from time-to-time.
We created our site because we realized that there's a broad diversity of guys out there who, for whatever reason, like underwear. Some like underwear on other guys and some just like it on themselves. What we've found is that most of our site's users are men, and that it splits almost 50/50 between gay men and straight men.
We try on focus on the underwear itself, not what's in the underwear. Our goal is to be site that covers all things underwear.
Come check out UndiesDrawer.com and see what I'm talking about. Whether you're a guy or girl, gay or straight, if you're into men's underwear, you'll find what you're looking for at UndiesDrawer.com
A men's underwear blog, tracking what's new, what's hot, what's on sale, and where to find mens underwear online, including briefs, boxers, trunks, thongs and jocks
Today I have a different bit of underwear news for you. It's not strictly men's underwear related, but it is so heartwarming that I thought I should share it anyway. Becky John, sick of the fact that sweatshop produced undies is all one can get these days, decided to open a more ethical underwear-making company, called Whomadeyourpants? This innovative underwear factory opened its doors in December of last year. The factory currently employs 11 workers and around nine trainees. All these women are either refugees, or otherwise marginalized and therefore unable to get proper, full-time jobs in the UK. Because when Becky founded the collective she also wanted to provide work for women, who for one reason or another, were not able to get work elsewhere. In addition to giving them work, Becky also offers English lessons and organizes social events for her employees. This gives the women, refugees from war-torn countries such as Afghanistan and Sudan, a chance to get out of the house, as well as make a real contribution to the world.
Their first collection, called Jasmine, was a bit too intricate to really be profitable. However, since then an underwear industry insider has provided the company with some simpler designs, which will allow them to sell at a profit. They have also recently won a hefty 60,000 British Pounds grant from the John Paul Getty JR charity fund, which will be paid out over three years. With this contribution Becky is certain that the business will take off, and become self-sustaining by 2013. They currently sell their creations exclusively through their online store, though they hope to offer them in shops in the near future. Judging by the fact that most of their stock is currently sold out they are certainly doing something right. And let’s hope that even more such fair-trade factories will spring up all over the world. I, for one, would be more than willing to pay a little more for a pair of undies knowing that the person who made them received a fair wage. Wouldn’t you?
There are quite a few sales and special promotions going on at the moment. And I thought it would be a shame not to tell you about them, since they’re all limited time offers. And there really is no other men’s underwear news to share, or at least nothing like yesterday’s announcement. So let’s just get to it.
CKU.com is offering 25% off select men’s styles. A not to miss event, though there’s only one day left for this one, so you might want to hurry. Among the items on sale they are the classic boxer briefs, the CKU Cottonlast range, and more.
Skiviez.com has just announced the arrival of new Andrew Christian FlexSoft range. Though these are not on sale, Skiviez.com is offering free shipping on all US orders. They are also offering great savings on the C-IN2 Core range, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
Mensuas.com is having their Christmas in July sale. Whatever that is. Well what it is, is that thy are offering 50% off until August 8th, 2010. In addition to this, they’re also offering 20% off all Uzzi, Unico, Tulio, Male Power, Pistol Pete items and 15% off all N2N and Speedo products. In other words, this would be the time to stock up.
And lastly, Malebasics.com have kicked off their Hot and Humid site wide sale. They’re offering 20% off their entire collection. You can take advantage of this offer by entering the code HOTHUMID at checkout. For more info and to get a look at their offerings visit the Male Basics website.
Tim Tebow Signs With Jockey (7/28/10) [View | Hide]
Just thought you’d be interested to know that, as of this July, the pro football quarterback Tim Tebow is the new spokesperson of Jockey International. He’ll model several of Jockey’s lines, including the Jockey “Staycool” collection, which will be launched in spring 2011. Tebow will be featured across the entire Jockey range of promotional materials, including their catalogues, TV and print ads, and on the Jockey.com website. Tim also signed a multiyear contract so we should be able to enjoy those ads for quite a while. He’s, as he put it, excited to be given the opportunity to represent the brand, and has been a Jockey customer for a long time. Here’s a little preview for you, while you can also visit Jockey.com/Tebow for more info.
As for Tim’s career, he was a first round NFL draft pick in 2010. While still in college he won two national championships and was the first sophomore winner of the Heisman Trophy. He’s also won the Maxwell Award twice as the nation's top college football player. And as if all this wasn’t enough, he’s also the winner of the Davey O'Brien Award as the nation's best college quarterback, and the James E. Sullivan Award as the nation's most outstanding amateur athlete. So he’s definitely an up and comer, and a great addition to the world of men’s underwear models. At least as far as I am concerned.
Spice Up You Undies Drawer (7/27/10) [View | Hide]
Looking to spice up your collection of men’s underwear? Here’s something a little different for you all to try out from Male Power. These guys give fetish items a whole new meaning and the collection is definitely worth checking out.
First up we have the Zipper Thong from Male Power. It’s a piece of men’s underwear reputed to be both sexy and comfy at the same time. They’re also designed to accentuate and enhance what Mother Nature gave you. This piece of underwear is unique because of the discreet zipper in the pouch. This allows both for easy access and originality. So this Nylon and Spandex g-string definitely deserves a spot in your undies drawer.
And if the zipper is a bit too much for your tastes, but you still want a super sleek thong, then the Male Power Liquid Onyx Classic Thong is just the thing to get. This wet-look, shinny PVC thong is reportedly both very hot (as in sexy) as well as comfortable. The material will also enhance you package, making this thong both pleasing to the eye as well as a great self-esteem booster. This is also one of the most popular styles among men lately, so you really can’t go wrong if you get a pair.
And if you’re looking for something a little more classic, Male Power does that too. The Male Power Sock looks just like a regular thong from the front, but from the back it’s a different story. Or to put it another way, the back of this thong is completely bare featuring no fabric whatsoever. So wearing these will make you feel like you are wearing nothing at all. This cotton creation gives you just the necessary lift at the front, while allowing you all the freedom of going bare at the same time. How cool is that?
Rrrready for R-Wear, courtesy of Robert Pattinson (7/26/10) [View | Hide]
Robert Pattinson is the newest European inspiration in Men's underwear. What's funny is, he probably learned about it from the press just like the rest of us did.
R-Patz, the name used by Twilight Saga groupies to identify the British cutie, is the teenage icon whose mildly smoldering image triggered the newest venture by the popular UK underwear label Mark & Spencer (or M&S).
The collection, keenly labeled R-Pants, is best described as a lien of skinny, low-cut underwear intended for (you guessed it) skinny bottoms. Modeled for use by a younger hipster generation, the company hopes this trend will breathe new life into an underwear label whose products have disappointed fashion editors in recent seasons (although 1 of every 4 British men still wear them).
What makes the R-Pants line different from most other collaborations? Perhaps the lack of a self-promoting celebrity designer. Robert Pattinson has no reported stake in the M&S company itself, thus no direct benefit from sales.. aside from the fact that his name seems to be able to sell everything from tickets to Madame Tussauds to Twilight gear.
That alone is pretty darn flattering. R-Pants undies (below) are set to hit retailers this September.
As promised, here are some more men's underwear pictures from the super talented and imaginitive Karim Konrad. There really is something about his photos that makes you see guys in underwear in a whole new light. When choosing which pics to post, I tried to show something for everyone. Hope you enjoy them and stay tuned for more!
Some More Summer Sales, Specials and Promotions (7/23/10) [View | Hide]
I just received news about some great new promotions and just had to pass the word along. I figured that these were just too good to pass by. And also that you might be in need of some fresh items for your wardrobe.
The first promotion is from Undergear.com. They've upped their summer sale discount from 50% to 60% off. And the best part about this offer is that you can really get most anything underwear related from Undergear they truly have heaps of it on sale, so it's worth a look, if nothing else.
Next, I have a special Nasty Pig promo for you. JockStrapCentral is currently offering 10% off the Nasty Pig Takedown Jock, which is similar to the rest of the Nasty Pig Jockstraps only better. It features the Nasty Pig logo along the front and center, and contrasting double racing stripes down the center of the pouch as well as on the waistband. The Takedown Jock is available in three color combos, that is red/black, white/black and yellow/black. To take advantage of this promotion enter the code TAKEDOWN at checkout and get 10% off these super sexy jocks. The offer is valid through August 1st, 2010, and with this promo I would seriously consider getting all three.
And lastly, FreshPair.com has further extended their clearance sale. They're now offering a high 65% off their selection of men's underwear. In addition to this great offer, you can now also get 3 pairs of underwear for the price of one. And they carry everything from CK to 2(x)ist and Emporio Armani, so you're sure to find something! Check out the website for full details.
3 Men's Fall Underwear Facts You Need to Know (7/22/10) [View | Hide]
As International Fashion Weeks come to pass, another season of Men's underwear is introduced from the runway to retail (or in Calvin Klein X case, hydraulic lifts), giving new life to the most classic faves. 2010 has generated a few fervently powerful innovations in the market of boxer briefs. While you enjoy the final months of this season, sum it up with some equally powerful (but not necessarily shocking) facts will keep you abreast of the what, who and where making it's mark in Fall 2010:
1. Yep, Calvin still rules. Designer brands from the 80s aren't known for their relevance in 2010. Then again, the brand of controversy brought by the infinite CKU is something we'd surely miss. The company began Fashion Week in Berlin with it's largest multibrand European runway show yet, summoning the handsomeness of their newest "X" models and further fabulous duds.
Above: Still-life presentation in Berlin; dark-haired Kellan Lutz at the show, with CKU's latest Womens model Zoe Saldana.
2. Get over your physical hangups: Shapewear is
shaping the future. Shape-enhancing underwear isn't just
for sucking it in. Compression gear from Spanx is a silky-smooth choice for a tapered
underpinning, even if it's used just to "smooth out" your already-ripped abs. Same goes for bottom-shaping products from your big-name faves; have some fun and accentuate features that make you feel good.

The #3 players who are back for the Fall/Winter '10-11seasons: Christiano, Adam & Noah.
Aye, Christiano! One of underwear's athletes-turned-models returns as the lovable bod of Emporio Armani underwear.

New Images From Pipe Underwear (7/22/10) [View | Hide]
I just received some great promo shots from Pipe Underwear and I just had to share them with you. These are from the new Pipe by Palachio collection called "Unbeaten, Racing - Square Cut Brief". The briefs come in either black or white, and in sizes small to medium and will set you back $26. This new collection is the next installment of Pipe Underwear’s Unbeaten range. And if I do say so myself, these are even funkier than the original and definitely a great choice. Especially if you’re in the market for some unique shorts to add to your underwear drawer. Not that that’s where these belong. They’re just way too comfortable and cool for that. Pipe Underwear is also offering free shipping for a limited time right now, so if you like what you see now would be the time to shop. And the Pipe Underwear model is kind of gorgeous too, so I’ll stop now and let you enjoy the pics!
New Andrew Christian and Tulio extra bulge underwear for men at International Jock (7/21/10) [View | Hide]
Men's underwear retailer International Jock is now offering at least 80 different bulge and shape enhancing men's underwear and
swimwear styles from designers Andrew Christian and Tulio. Andrew Christian offers both
bulge enhancing and butt lifting version of both underwear swimwear, namely the
Show-It, Almost Naked and Shock Jock collections.
And I'll admit, I've never worn anything from Tulio, but they all look great and they are now offering men's swimwear styles
featuring a contoured male pouch in front for extra emphasis on your package, and you can get the Tulio swimwear styles in briefs, trunks and shorts.
I love the looks and styles of these bulge enhancing models, and they're available at International Jock right now.
History of men's underwear from BBC One (7/21/10) [View | Hide]
I think I forgot to post this little treasure a while back. Adam from DeadGoodUndies sent us this video from a recent BBC One show that featured a short video history of men's underwear. The video mostly deals with Jockey men's underwear, which honestly comprises a good chunk of the history of men's underwear in general. DeadGoodUndies has the bold Retro line from Jockey, so they convinced Jockey to let them post this video to YouTube. As a significant number of the readers of this men's underwear blog live in the US, we're posting it because you likely didn't see it on UK television. This piece is a creative and humorous history lesson into men's undies with a British flair.

JockStrapCentral Model Corey (7/20/10) [View | Hide]
Corey’s been appearing for quite some time on the JockStrapCentral website, but it is not until now that a full gallery of his photos is finally live on the site. The reason for this delay is in the fact that what he was wearing on the shoot had not actually been launched at the site yet. But it’s definitely been worth the wait! Below are a few previews from the gallery and you can check out the rest at the JockStrapCentral website. But if you want to know a little more about Corey then read on.
This 22-year old hottie has Polish roots though he was born and raised in a small northern Ontario community. He has quite a wild and adventurous side to him too, and enjoys dirt biking, mountain climbing, snowmobiling, drag racing, and surfing. In other words, he likes to live dangerously. And he’s well educated too. He holds a university degree in marketing as well as a post-graduate degree in advertising and works for a large Canadian marketing firm. But his passion is modeling and he is seeking as much work in this field as he can possibly get. He believes that a model can never get enough camera time and his goal is to enter the professional modeling field and quit his day job. Modeling for JockStrapCentral is just one of the stops on his growing modeling career. So expect to see more of him in the future!
The gallery of Corey's photo featured on the JockStrapCentral website contains 35 high resolution photos and you can also download the entire set if you so wish. Enjoy!
Are Cartoon Undies What You're Into? (7/19/10) [View | Hide]
From funky, fun art to controversial kitties, whimsical briefs and boxers continue to add both major disgust and glee to the world of Men's underwear. Several cartoon-character undies are the favorites at chic boutiques, while other styles unleash a sandstorm of horrific reviews from our favorite blogs. One thing is for sure: Your bright and tidy graphics are quite likely to be noticed.
Runway Worthy: Ginch Gonch
A favorite of both Undiesdrawer and major online retail, Ginch Gonch motivates the grown-up man to "Live like a Kid!" with an unabashedly in-your-face illustrations coveting anything from pop-art burgers to muscle cars. The label is not one that's focused solely on aesthetic; GG's thick, comfy waistband and 4-way stretch helped to catapult this underwear brand to remarkable success.
Left to Right: I Love Burgers "Open Sesame"; I Love London "London Ballin"; Wiener Eaters classic "Blue Bunns", all supersoft with stretch at Ginch Gonch.
Hello.. or Good Riddance?
Cheerful Hello Kitty underwear for Men by Toot brought out the worst of reactions, as evidenced by blog posts by the haters at Destroy Hello Kitty and fanatics at Kitty Hell. Seems like nobody outside of Japan was particularly happy to see the clawless feline planted on at least 4 or 5 otherwise stylish versions of boxer briefs. If anyone is interested, you can find the pairs below (as cheap as $6.99) on marketplace sites such as Bonanzieand ECrater.
It's Julius! .. for your jewels
Julius the monkey continues to enjoy a rather cultlike following as the head mammal at Paul Frank Industries. Along with rag dolls, kids tees' and even chic-looking sunglasses, the Paul Frank Men's underwear collection is, simply put, a lot less immature than you may have conceived.
Frank makes 3-pack briefs famous. Julius & Skurvy all-cotton knit briefs, $32 per pack. Julius Scooters boxer brief is sold as single (center), $18. Shop.paulfrank.com
Here’s a little something to rest your eyes on before heading out to work today. Or while at work. Or whenever, really. Today’s photo find comes not from any place online, but from the August issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine. Yes, you read it right, this hottie is featured on page 72 of this months issue of Cosmo. It’s part of an article on 101 Things About Men, but if you want to know what those are you’ll have to buy the mag. Only the first few are featured along with the photo. But who’s complaining? And, for my part, I just have to agree with the guy who sent me the photo in the first place and who wrote, “Too bad he doesn’t spill that water all over his boxers.” Enjoy!

I have a couple reasons for throwing this post together, so I do ask that you “bare” with me.
Firstly, for some of you this may be a repeat post, however, the original post got lost in a nasty database back up incident and secondly after visiting my good friends from JockstrapCentral.com this past Pride weekend in Toronto, I heard some disturbing news.
So let us start with the disturbing news. I found out that you boys are not jumping on these undies…REALLY?
Dudes, you are missing out on a wicked pair of undies and trust me I have put these to the test big time. I really worked them hard!
How I Got My Hands on a Pair
My Partner was in New York for meetings and had some free time and ended up right around the corner from the Nasty Pig boutique and popped in there to look around to find something to bring home for me ((I love presents --- just saying)), fully aware that I am a Nasty Pig freak!
Next day, when he gets back home, he pulls a pair of the Mash Up Briefs, in RED ((my favourite colour)) out of his suitcase and I lose it.
I have since added to my collection of Nasty Pig couture to my wardrobe and strongly suggest you check their site out because they know how to make pieces that you feel amazing in!
OK so let us get back to these undies…
Listen up guys…if you want a pair of undies that feel like a second skin, without cramping your style ((and by style I mean fashion sense as well as your bulge)) in fact sometimes you have to actually remind yourself you are wearing a pair of “top drawer” undies…then these are the ones for you.
I am a HUGE fan of these briefs, so comfortable, supportive, unrestrictive and as much as I am a sucker for a white waistband, I can’t tell you enough how much I love this waistband showing up over my jeans.
My Partner picked up a pair of the trunks in white yesterday, while we were visiting our buds at JockstrapCentral.com during Toronto Pride 2010, and when he slipped them on this morning he was grinning ear to ear. ((Oh, you know that I will be getting my hands on those and giving them a run for their money))
The fabric used in the construction of these undies is perfect. One could try to compare and argue about fabric blend and composition and all I gotta say to that is at the end of the day you are going to hesitate taking off these undies.
So I encourage you to let loose, throw caution to the wind and order yourself a pair of these super undies. Sure the design is on the wild side, but really aren’t you?
Now of course I am hoping you support my local buds and visit JockstrapCentral.com --- they are cool guys that put YOU first.
I don’t want to inflate their egos or anything like that but I have gotten emails from locals, that I don’t even know, who found JockstrapCentral.com from reading here, placed and order and had their order hand delivered without shipping costs…that to me says CUSTOMER SERVICE! ((although not possible for everyone but I have to say these boys really know how to treat their customers right))
However, I will throw this in there too…
There is a full range of clothing available from NastyPig.com and I do think it is worth taking a look at. ((The TIES are the next on my list of “must haves”))
I, myself, with thanks to my Partner, have some really wicked socks from them and am looking at other items like their jeans, ties and um okay I admit it, just about everything, to hang in my closet…
What you are still reading this? Get over there and start shopping. You won’t be sorry!

Dude Underwear New Model and New Styles (7/15/10) [View | Hide]
About a week ago I already introduced you to the new range of men's underwear and swimwear from Dude Underwear. Here are some new photos of the Fence Boxer brief, Sport Boxer brief, Disco Ball Boxer Brief, and Tattoo Boxer Brief as worn by their new model Justin. And he is really the reason why I am posting about this again. That, and the fact that these new styles are super trendy and comfortable. The photos were done in Chicago by RVJ Studios.
In the first photos Justin is wearing the Dude Fence Boxer Brief. Just to remind you, these briefs will accentuate what needs to be accentuated and are an overall great choice for all your trendy and fun underwear needs.
This second set features Justin sporting the, well, Sport Boxer Brief. The great retro design and vivid colors are a great choice for the summer. All in all, these cotton boxer briefs will not disappoint.
Here is Justin showing us the Disco Ball Boxer Brief. With these you'll get a great flattering fit, and a unique style all in one.
The last set shows Justin in the Tattoo Boxer Brief. These yellow tattoo print boxer briefs are fun to wear and fun to look at, especially with their enhancing and flattering features. Not a style to pass by this summer.
I have recently received some great photos from the super talented photographer, Karim Konrad. While these photos do feature guys in underwear, they are not strictly about men’s underwear. And I thought that would make for a nice break from all the sales updates and the like. Besides, the photos are steamy hot and should keep us all occupied for quite awhile. Especially since I won’t be publishing all of them at once, but will space them out over the next few weeks. You know what they say, too much of a good thing can all at once is, well, not good.
Before we get to the pictures though, I want to briefly introduce you to the man behind the camera. Karim Konrad is originally from Berlin, Germany, but has, for the past two years been living in Sydney, Australia. He’s gained considerable fame with his first book “Berlin Gay Mates”. Since it’s publication, his work has appeared in most of Europe’s gay mags, and recently on the cover and inside Australia’s number one magazine DNA. His newest photos showcase mainly Australian guys in various stages of undress. And, as Karim puts it, the best thing about working as a photographer in Australia is, of course, the beach. What I personally like about his photos is how he expertly weaves together such relatively opposing motives as, for example, cute yellow baby chickens and chiseled, tanned and nearly naked guys. See below for what I mean, and stay tuned for more. But if you can’t wait that long, you might also want to check out Karim Konrad's website.
Cocksox World Cup 2010 Tribute (7/13/10) [View | Hide]
As you may or may not know, the soccer, or football, World Cup 2010 is over. Spain won, so go Spain, but I am not the only one cheering here. The innovative men’s underwear company Cocksox has also decided to do a tribute to the event in their own special way. They’ve had their super-hot model Tristan Hamilton put on his sox and get out his balls. Soccer balls that is. What did you think? The photographs were done by Bad Behaviour Publishing, Ross Brownsdon and Travis de Jonk, and the entire series was shot in Melbourne, Australia. Here’s a little sample for you to feast your eyes on, while you can view the entire set at the Cocksox website. They liked the pics so much that they’ve put up an entire World Cup Tribute Gallery, and who can blame them? The Cocksox guys would also like to invite you to download as many of these shots as you want from their downloads section and share the pics with your friends, if you want.
And if you like what you see and want a pair of Cocksox for yourself, now would be the perfect time to act on that impulse. Cocksox are offering 20% off their entire range. Just enter “Crown” in the promo box at checkout and you’re all set. This offer is only valid until midnight, July 18th, so you do want to hurry. Check out the website for all the additional info!

Not sure what kind of men’s underwear to buy? In the flood of available options out there that’s not that surprising. Well, here are two suggestions for you, especially if you like unique designs. These choices come from the current Gigo collection and they are available from Dead Good Undies. Overall, I must say that the latest Gigo underwear collection definitely has some of the most impressive and fun designs that you are likely to find in the world of men’s underwear offerings. It features a great selection of one-of-a-kind designs and patters, which are both super original and very comfortable. So you really can’t go wrong with them.
This great Circus Boxer Beief features a psychedelic pattern. The cut of these figure-hugging and supportive nylon and spandex mix, boxers is very traditional. They are available in yellow, red and purple, and will definitely not go unnoticed. They also offer a very good fit, come in sizes small, medium, large and extra large, and are a great choice if you are looking for something a little less run-of-the-mill.
Another great choice is the Comic Circus Boxer Brief style. These have a similar cut as the Circus design, but feature a much more fun, comic book style print. The quality of these spandex and nylon boxers is also superb, giving you great support in all the places where support is needed. You can get these in blue, and in sizes S, M, L or XL, but the storyline will be the same every time. And they’re guaranteed to keep reading!
Perhaps the best part about these super fun briefs is their price. Check them out at Dead Good Undies and decide if they’re not exactly what you need. I’m pretty sure they might be!
Andrew Christian Looking For Models (7/7/10) [View | Hide]
Here’s some more Andrew Christian news for you all. He has just announced that he is looking for the next fresh face for his 2010 advertising campaign. This event will be hosted at his new flagship boutique in Los Angeles this Sunday, July 11th at 1 PM. This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to break into the men’s underwear modeling business. And just as a reminder, last year’s winner was featured in an ad campaign in OUT Magazine. All the rest of the details are on the flyer below.
And if you simply just want a good workout, you have another chance to attend the WEHO Boot Camp at Andrew Christian’s flagship store at 11 AM this Saturday, July 10th. A little more forewarning this time. The event is completely free, but you do have to sign up beforehand by sending an email to aanderson@AndrewChristianBoutique.com or to retailstoremanager@andrewchristian.com with your name and how many people you plan to bring along. You can also sign up at the West Hollywood Store. The boot camp will once again be hosted by celebrity trainer J.R. Rogers. Water will be provided, but you should bring a mat and a towel, since things will get hot and sweaty! Also, everyone who attends the event will be treated to a 25% discount on any item in the store. What more incentive do you need?
Here's another great photo of a guy in underwear that I just had to share with you. The Soccer World Cup may be drawing to a close, but it still makes for a sexy jock motif, right? This photo is from The Locker Room Blog, and it really doesn't leave much to the imagination. Enjoy!
Hottest Men’s Swimwear for 2010 (7/5/10) [View | Hide]
Good news for everyone who has not yet stocked up on swimwear this year. AussieBum.com have just released what has got to be the hottest piece of men’s swimwear available this year. This range of swimming briefs is officially called “Inspired” and I’m sure few will be left cold when they set eyes on you wearing it. Mainly because these tartan printed swimwear features aussieBum’s Wonderjock support and enhancing technology. These will allow you to strut your stuff on the beach more proudly this summer, while the cut will definitely let you get a tan. Check out the video below to see these “bad boys” in action.
And if the cut of the Inspired range is just a bit to low for you, you might also want to check out the rest of aussieBum.com styles for this summer. You can also get the full benefit of the Wonderjock technology with their Classic Wonderjock swimwear. However, if you don’t like briefs and would prefer something a little more concealing, yet still want a good tan, then the Bondi Series swimming shorts might be just the thing for you. We’ve already wrote extensively about aussiBum's Bondi Series a few weeks back, but let me just say that they are a great choice, and a definite trend setting hit for this summer. And best of all, ausieBum now offers free shipping worldwide, an opportunity you probably don’t want to miss.
Hot Men's Underwear Promotions (7/2/10) [View | Hide]
Just in time for the Fourth of July sales that are popping up everywhere, we’ve received some hot promotional photos that I just had to share with you. The first one is of the Andrew Christian Super Mesh Bikini With Show-It Technology. This is the only men's swimwear to feature Andrew Christian's Show-It Technology 2.0. The secret is in the hidden "comfy cup" that both lifts and pushes your “package” to the front adding up to 1.5 inches, or 3.8 cm, of frontal enhancement. This is also the biggest enhancement you will find on any swimwear. These swim briefs are also super sexy, due to the side and back yoke being made of a sheer mesh, which is, needless to say, very revealing. You can get them in either black or white, and in sizes from XS to XL. Ready to get wet then?
The model in the photo below is sporting the Go Softwear Boy Brief, which despite the name is not actually meant to be worn by boys. This super comfortable and very popular style has a full-cut back and a low-rise front, which includes a built-in pouch for extra room. It comes in sizes ranging from XS to XL and is available in many fun colors, including pink, baby blue and red. And, as always, the Go Software underwear makers would like to invite you to put your “Hardware into their Software.” And that might not be a bad idea at all.
Both of these styles are currently on special offer at 10percent.com. Though you might also consider getting the mesh bikini directly from Andrew Christian’s online store, since he’s kicked off his 4th of July Sale. He’s offering 20% off and the rest of the details are on the flyer below.
I just received an fun surprise in my inbox! A new photo for the Timoteo Sport Underwear! Check out the promotional photo attached to the email. I cannot express how much I liked the idea of seeing double! I wish I can fill out the brief as nicely as he does! (Or is it a special design that comes with every pair?) Happy Thursday!

2wink contest lets you design your own men's underwear (7/1/10) [View | Hide]
Australian men's underwear company 2wink is rolling out a contest that some of you will really like. They're going to let you design your own underwear!
In their just-launched "A Change 2Design" contest, you create your own men's underwear design and submit it to them via email, and the ultimate winner will be selected by three celebrity judges -- reality TV star Jack Mackenroth (Project Runway), award-winning comedienne Deven Green (“Welcome to My…” parody series) and Pinstripe Magazine Editor-in-Chief Marv Valladares. If you win, you'll win $1500 AUD (about $120 in US Dollars) and second place will receive $200 AUD (about $165 US Dollars) of 2wink vouchers.
Even better, 2wink plans to make the winning design a reality! They will produce 5000 limited edition pairs of the winning design and sell them with 50% of the proceeds going to fight prostate cancer. That's a double win!
Entries can be created manually or digitally and submitted online. The contest will be open to entries for 8 weeks, then the judging will take place over 2 weeks and will be based on such things as best use of color, most creative pattern and other criteria. Thereafter, the manufacture process will take about 18 weeks before the winning undies will be available for sale.
In order to enter, you must design the entire pair, and it must be an original design. They are allowing all colors, and the waistband should be 4 centimeters wide. You must submit your entry no later than August 26, 2010., and entries should be made via email submission in either .pdf or .jpg format to events@2wink.com.au. Make sure to include your name, mailing address and contact details in your email so they know who you are and how to get in contact with you. And, of course, you should remember once you submit your entry, the design will become the property of 2wink, and you'll need to sign a release as well because they won't compensate you or anything (except for the contest winnings).
This could be very fun! Over the years, lots of our readers have espressed an interest in designing underwear, so we'll be watching to see what comes out of this contest. Start designing!
New Dude 2010 Line of Men’s Underwear Coming Soon (7/1/10) [View | Hide]
Great news for all you fans of Dude and their collection of fun men’s undies. Their 2010 collection is about to be released and as usual it will not disappoint. At least not if fun underwear is what you are looking for. Compared to other brands of men’s underwear, New Dude always come up with some great and unique designs and prints that are sure to make you stand out. Below is a little preview of their new stock along with some descriptions of what you can expect to get for your money.
Dude Tattoo Cotton Boxer Brief
This super soft cotton boxer brief comes in sizes small, medium and large. They offer a very flattering fit, but their best feature has got to be the skull on the back. If you’re trying to put some fun back into your underwear drawer than these are definitely the first undies that you should get.
Fence Cotton Boxer Brief
This black cotton boxer brief with a grey print also comes in S, M and L. It will also accentuate what needs to be accentuated and last a long time due to the reinforced stitching. And even though the model wearing these shorts is about to climb into the pool, I don’t think these are meant to be used as swimwear. Though with the fun design, you might be able to get away with it.
Dude Disco Ball Boxer Brief
These purple and white cotton boxer briefs are meant to look like a disco ball, it would seem. In that they’re perhaps the most unique of the lot, and also come in the same sizes as the previous two with all the works, including reinforced stitching and a super flattering fit.

OK, I know we already had some eye-candy yesterday but here is some more. Timoteo have just sent over some hot images of their new model Joel Rush that I just had to share with you ASAP. These images were shot by Timoteo Ocampo and Photographer Allen Zaki just a few weeks ago so they are as fresh as you can hope to get them.
Joel Rush is one of the contestants competing on ABC's reality show True Beauty, the brainchild of Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher. For those of you who have not been watching it, the show strives to teach good-looking people the importance of inner beauty. However, it is yet to be determined if it had such an effect on Joel. Before appearing on TV and landing a modeling contract with Vision Model Management, Joel worked as an imaging software salesman in Tampa, Florida. He could be described as the cool and wild party-guy. He also says that since he already acts as a celebrity, it is only a matter of time before he becomes one. Given his recent modeling success, this might not be far from the truth. The 27-year old newly fledged model still maintains that he is the "Crown Prince of Cool" and that his fitness routine is primarily about “looking great naked.” He also tends to be the loudest and most conceited guy at any party, though some sentimentality does show true when he talks about his family, especially about his grandfather.
Bomb proof underwear now offered to British soldiers in Afghanistan (6/29/10) [View | Hide]
Adam over at DeadGoodUndies is always good at finding fun men's underwear notes.
Today he passed us a story from the British press about new bomb-proof boxer shorts being developed by the military innovators. According to the news story, military equipment supplier BCB International has created underwear that includes a Kevlar liner around your crotch to make sure your goods are safe when you're in the most precarious of situations. Who needs a jockstrap and cup when you have some bulletproof material protecting the family jewels?
These reinforced boxer shorts are being sold to the British Ministry of Defense for a cool £60 (which in US dollars comes to about $90) a pair. The story notes that these armored undies won't protect you from a direct hit but will shield the area from small flying shrapnel in a roadside bomb. The news story even quotes a British corporal pointing out that soldiers where helmets for their heads and body armor for their torsos, but now this underwear provides additional protection down below. Too bad Under Armour didn't create this concept first or it could have really helped out their branding!
If you're not in the market for bulletproof undies, maybe you should at least go visit DeadGoodUndies.com to see what men's underwear you can find in your style and price range just to say thanks to Adam for coming up with this fun story.
Thanks for the add on. I used to live in Lexington. I wish I had known you then. I'm into underwear, especially when they are filled and even overflowing.
