Thanks for taking the time to check this out - I grew up in the radio industry and am a fan of all types of music, but my favorite would be club/dance music. I created a 24/7 club music station on Live365 called MUZOPHILE - you can click the pic to check it out!
Thanks for stopping by! I grew up in the radio industry and have been a clubhead long before the Internet existed -yes, it's true. I'm hoping to connect with fans of the music, as I am a true believer in a beat that makes you go 'Oh hell yeah!' and a night out that makes you say 'What the hell was I thinking?'
I remember back in the days when a club was a club, when you danced your ass off all night and genuinely enjoyed it. I created the 24/7 online club music station MUZOPHILE on Live365, it's the hottest DJs from around the world playing the coolest hits all day/night long, all the time. I'm hoping you enjoy it the way that I do. :) Click here for more info about MUZOPHILE on my official site.
Who's on Top Next Week? 'Play On...' (11/6/09) [View | Hide]
Man, it's been a long time since I've had sex with a chick...would you believe my ex gf was one of the cheerleaders for the Tampa Bay Bucs when we was bangin'? True story for another time....
But who wouldn't wanna see Carrie Underwood on top?
Carrie is on track to achieve her second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as her recently released album, 'Play On,' should debut atop the chart next week, reports Billboard.
Set should sell over 300,000 copies by week's end on Sunday (Nov. 8) night.
Underwood's 2007 album, 'Carnival Ride,' opened in the penthouse with 527,000 and has gone on to sell 2.98 million in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The new album's lead single, 'Cowboy Casanova,' moves up two slots to No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs tally and has so far peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Dance mixes, Carrie...dance mixes. Listen to Madonna and Britney; despite what the Bible Belt tells you, there's a future with the gays. xo

58. Shapeshifters - 'Lola's Theme' (Victor Caldeone and Eric Prydz Mixes) (2004)
Can't even tell you just how much this is one of my all-time favorite tracks, so very happy to be able to include it here. Track ended up on the Shapeshifters' 2006 album 'Sound Advice,' which - by far - was my most-played album of that year...and still a great listen!
The original video is below - click here to give the Victor Calderone and Eric Prydz mixes a listen:

DJ HECTOR FONSECA Talks New Single 'Get On Top,' What He Likes in a Guy, more (11/3/09) [View | Hide]
New York-based hottie spinmaster DJ Hector Fonseca has been kind enough to take the time to talk up everything from his latest single 'Get on Top' and his work with *69 to what he likes in a guy (and in the sack), advice for newbies who wanna break in the Biz and more. Plus, he may even flex his vocal chops in the near future. Lets get to it...
Muzo: When did you know that DJing was your calling?
Hector: Looking back, I've always had an addiction to music and DJ'ing, but I think I didn't fully realize it until I started giving out mixed tapes and got a great response from some important people in the NYC club scene. That's when I thought 'This might be calling...' That's when I quit the acting/modeling industry and started DJ'ing full time.
Hector: I met Peter Rauhofer through a friend and was a fan of his work, so I kept giving him my stuff. Eventually I was asked to do some remixes. After doing a few remixes, I was brought on as an artist. That was like 5 years ago, and I've done a lot on the label since.
*****
Muzo: You've said Rauhofer is your mentor - talk about cool! What's it like working with him?
Hector: He's a perfectionist and so working with him, it pushes you to do your best.
*****
Muzo: Lets talk about your original mixes - anything in the pipeline?
Hector: Yes, I just released 'Get On Top (click here to get it in iTunes)' and have a new single called 'I'm So Addictive' with this great singer from L.A. named Jenia. I also have several other singles I am working on and remixing for 2010.
*****
Muzo: When is your next album due out - and what can we expect?
Hector: My next compilation will be for Parking nightclub in Montreal (one of my favorites, of my 5 worldwide residencies). I'm really excited about it and think It's gonna be kick ass! I should have an original album out in 2010 as well.
*****
Muzo: And you'll be in L.A. on Nov. 7 for Reflex. As New Yorker, you travel a lot! You have a favorite place to visit?
Hector: Yes, Montreal, Rome and Rio de Janeiro are favorites of mine. The music and party scenes there are unique to those cities. In the U.S., L.A. is one of my favorites. The underground scene seems to be growing there now, and it's exciting to be a part of it with parties like Reflex leading the way.
*****
Muzo: One thing anyone who visits New York must do?
Hector: Visit Williamsburg, there is a creative energy and excitement there that Manhattan used to have and lost.
*****
Muzo: DJs/remixers you admire?
Hector: Laidback Luke, Abel Ramos, Alain Jackinsky and Danny Verde are a few producers/remixers that I think recently have been doing great things.
*****
Muzo: Top 5 most played songs in your iPod?
Hector: Laroux 'Going in for the Kill,' The Gossip 'Heavy Cross,' Antoine Clamaran 'Reach for the Stars,' Jenia 'I'm So Addictive' and Kings of Leon 'Somebody.'
*****
Muzo: Celebrity crush?
Hector:Kim Kardashian and Taylor Lautner
*****
Muzo: Now for the hot stuff Single or taken?
Hector: Single
*****
Muzo: What's a guy gotta do to get naked with you?
Hector: Be real.
*****
Muzo: Type of guy you usually go for?
Hector: I tend to be drawn towards people who are down to earth, BS-free and unaffected.
*****
Muzo: Complete the sentence: 'On a date, the guy should...'
Hector: Be chill and not put up a facade cause I usually see right through it.
*****
Muzo: Complete the sentence: 'In bed, the guy should...'
Hector: Not smell bad.
*****
Muzo: What will you be doing in 5 years?
Hector: I will be DJ'ing and producing house music still but also branching out from the club scene a bit via TV/radio.
*****
Muzo: Advice for new guys getting into the Biz?
Hector: Realize early that this is a business and you must treat it as such...but at the same time, be creative and follow your vision.
*****
Muzo: What's next for Hector?
Hector: Lots of touring for my next mixed CD and an original album/EP...that I might even be singing on, so stay tuned!
59. Deborah Cox - 'Absolutely Not' (Chanel Club Mix) (2001)
It's no secret what a blessing diva Deborah Cox is to the dancefloor - even harder to believe that this song is now almost 8 years old. It's been awhile since I gave this a listen, and man does it bring back memories - this was one of those tracks that got everyone (and I mean everyone) in the club jammin' and singin' along, such a great anthem:
1. Music Again 2. For Your Entertainment 3. Whataya Want From Me 4. Strut 5. Soaked 6. Sure Fire Winners 7. A Loaded Smile 8. If I Had You 9. Pick U Up 10. Fever 11. Sleepwalker 12. Aftermath 13. Broken Open 14. Time For Miracles
HeyY. So I was reading up on you blog and TOTALLY agree w. your posting on Mariah's 'Memoirs' album and how theyre releasing ALL the wrong singles! They did the same thing on E=MC2. If they were smart and really want to get her those next couple #1's, they should release "Angels Cry", "Standing O" and "More Than just Friends". All great tracks that could totally fit in the cookie-cutter pop radio niche! And I was psyched to read about the remix album! Keep up the research! LOVE the blog!
Thanks for accepting my friend friendship I live in Chile saw your page and I like you are kind and good man that is very sexy sensual, my big hug and we're seeing mobychile@hotmail.com
