C'e solo un ragazzo nella vita mia.
I've just gotten back from a two-month-long backpacking trip across Europe; I now know how to say "train platform" in about six different languages, and I have a newfound appreciation for cheeseburgers.
Seriously though, I had a great time, but I am relieved to be back in Rhode Island. (Reason #38 I don't like macs: their silly little spell check, beside promoting idiocy and iliteracy, won't accept the "Rhode" in Rhode Island).
KC are my first two initials (I have four). I'm not telling what they stand for, though I promise you would find it interesting.
Etymology turns me on (not to be confused with entomology, which is for nerds). Just ask me some of my favorite words.
(I didn't intend to rhyme that, but after careful deliberation, I've decided to keep it)
I love commas and parenthetical phrases, can you tell?
I study classical voice with a secondary focus in piano.
I'm quite good.
I love the beach.
Likewise, I love Rhode Island, naturally.
I was born and raised here.
I'm Italian, Irish, and English, and I speak Italian almost fluently.
My favorite color is blue.
My favorite season is summer.
My favorite food is ice cream (or watermelon sherbet).
My favorite time of day is late night/early morning.
However, I love to get a good night's sleep, and therefore usually miss my favorite time of day.
I prefer spelling words the British way (i.e. "favourite), but I refrain, so as not to seem too pretentious.
I'm obsessed with using correct spelling and grammar; I punctuate my instant messages.
I'm afraid of spiders.
I'm allergic to bees.
I suck at putting things in alphabetical order
(I promise I know the alphabet, though).
My mother thinks I'm great.
My biggest pet peeve is indecision, but I'm guilty of said offense.

I hate wearing shoes, but not as much as I hate wearing socks.

I find true optimism masked by a nihilistic sense of humor quite charming.
