ABOUT ME
I'm a masculine guy into sports, outdoors, and new adventures. I'm comfortable in jeans and t-shirt, tuxedo...and everything in between. On any given day, you can find me driving my Tundra or Sequoia with Tebow riding shotgun, or sporting my new Porsche Cayman S. When home alone, I am usually naked. My undergrad and grad degrees were received at University of Florida - GO GATORS!!! I find the gym, pool, biking or running to be cathartic. I also enjoy hiking, going to the beach, riding horses, reading, and cooking. I can remember when Orlando seemed like a rural community. Even still, we lived in the "city" during the week and spent weekends on "the farm". I consider myself a community stakeholder and serve on numerous government and non-profit boards. I am a philathropist and honor my family as chairman of foundation established by my grandparents to support numerous local and national initiatives. I hope to instill in my nephews and nieces the value of carrying the foundation's mission into perpetuity. I am a proponent of parity in healthcare and preventive medicine. I look for guys with similar attributes. In the past, I have allowed my career and family to consume my life. I have learned to make others a top priority. On DList, I am mostly interested in friendship. I live in Orlando, FL and have homes in Gainesville (GO GATORS!!!), Steinhatchee, and Port St Joe, FL. I also have a home in Waynesville, NC. Along with my family, I recently acquired a ranch in north Florida. It takes me back to my roots - great memories of weekends on the family ranch, or tending our citrus groves. I travel frequently to DC, Tallahassee, Atlanta, and Knoxville for business and/or pleasure.
Life is GREAT! No regrets; only lessons learned. Relationships - good and bad - have made me who I am today. I am blessed with so many riches, including family and friends who accept me as I am and love me unconditionally. My dad was a great man. I miss him a lot. My mom is re-married and I have a great stepfather. I grew up with six brothers. My nephews and nieces think I am cool - I love that! I have traveled extensively and have friends throughout the US and abroad, from all walks of life, and with whom I communicate regularly.
