The rumors are true: I have a weakness for manbears.
Okay, so the basics:
+ My name is Jeremy.
+ I'm a writer and a musician.
+ I grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley, where I still reside.
+ I share a birthday with David Bowie, Elvis Presley, and Stephen Hawking, but I am in no way as brilliant or original as they were.
+ I earned my BA in English in the spring of 2007, and will complete my MFA in Creative Writing in December '09.
+ I attempt free-thinking on a semi-regular basis.
+ I like to spend my free time writing, listening to music, going to shows or going really anywhere, particularly to somewhere I have never been.
+ I love museums, the beach, record stores, thrift stores, learning new things, nature, star-gazing, and long drives with no particular destination in mind.
+ It's "boy", NOT "boi". Get used to it.
+ I enjoy the occasional cocktail.
+ I'm the Sales Account Rep for Borders in Valencia. It's my job to sell thousands of dollars of books to different companies and set up events in-store. Not my dream job, but in this economy, it's a paycheck.
+ I am definitely not perfect and I have never thought I was.
+ I'm just as lost as most other twenty-somethings with college under their belts.
I actually get asked this a lot, so I will answer. What do I look for in a guy?
I want a guy who is rugged. A guy's guy if you will. But, I'm not picky. I do have a tendency to fall for rugged "mountain men" types though. Again, not picky. Never been a fan of "pretty boy" types. Just what I've found myself attracted to / not attracted to as of late.
However, I need a guy who can dominate me, or at least try and tame me because I'm pretty dominating. I like guys who can show me who's boss. And lastly, I need a guy who has the confidence in himself to tell me "no" when I need to hear it.
Wow, that made me sound like a bitch. I'm not, but damn if it doesn't sound like it now!
