so ever since my parents told me i was half swedish, i completely embraced it. i remember back when i was 10, at a family reunion, i was the one who was talking to my relatives from sweden, while everyone else ignored them. my dad left sweden for a reason, but i dont care. i love my background. basshunter is from sweden (if you cant already tell) and i just love his style of music. pop and techno are by far my favorite styles of music, and i hope you enjoy my playlist.
my passion and what i plan on doing in college, and for the rest of my life, is architecture. architecture is one thing that i can look and, and fall in love with more than just a simple painting or photograph. early on i knew it would be what i perused in college. starting fall of 2010 i will be at southern poly state university (spsu) in marietta which is just 10-15 mins north of atlanta. i cant wait to get started!
painting is another one of my passions. when im depressed, i go up to my room, lock the door, put on some music, and just paint. right now i have a theme, but there is a story behind it. in the summer of 2009, i was in south africa. it was a life-changing trip, and while i was there, i met a man who goes by the name of "dino". he was an amazing painter and very close to death. before i left to go back to london, and then back to the US, i bought 4 of his paintings. one, i gave to my ex boyfriend (bkurway08), one i gave to my mom, and the other 2 are hanging up on my wall in my bedroom. sadly, when the new year hit, i got an email from one of my friend on the trip and she told me that "dino" had passed away. so from then on, i have been painting in his style, carrying on his beautiful style that takes my breath away.
the last of my passions is graphic design. currently, i am employed as a graphic designer for an import and export business. im only 18, but i have an office, a nice computer, and a very bitchy boss. i know that this job is only temporary and im always looking to do little jobs for people, free lance stuff and the sort. i design tee shirts and all that jazz. i really only do it for fun, and to make some money on the side (hey, it beats doing porn).
So before, it said right here, that I had recently gotten my heart broken. And that was true, but I now have an amazing boyfriend that I love being with. And actually, ill be living with him during college, so I am super exited for that!!
