Looking for new buds all over the place....or:
Me: I'm an early 20's city boy (half Jamaican and half Irish). Raised in Montreal which means I also speak french...though I'm not snooty. Someday Iâll get a house in the middle of nowhere with lots of trees and some water (probably Ireland), but I will not live in the suburbs. With my luck, Iâll fall for a suburban type guyâ¦.they always seem nice.
Iâm kind of a boy next door comic book nerd. I usually wear jeans, but have been known to dress it up for random functions. Iâm tall and my weight is pretty average. Iâd like to gain some muscle mass, and I try and work out regularly. I can bike a couple miles and will likely push myself to bike from Toronto to Ottawa sometime this summer. I try to eat healthy and I buy only low fat and low sodium foods....or at least that's what I try and make myself believe when I sneak in that extra box of pop tarts :P. I try to be a good person. I volunteer. I smile at people on the street.
I like my job. I put 100% into it. I probably put 150%, but I know that itâs mathematically impossible. I have had a few careers, and I think I finally found my niche. Iâll probably change my mind in a year or two. Iâm OK with the idea of doing new thingsâ¦the goal is to be happy.
I love the outdoors, but donât do it enough. I can spend a week in the woodsâ¦but I will make a squeaking sound anytime a bug lands on me. We wonât even go into what happens if there is a bug in my house. And lord help the neighbors if it also flies.
I love sports, and have been known to get pretty down and dirty. Actually snow isn't that dirty...To respond to your question....snowboarding...
Iâm a goofball. I will randomly come up with something goofy to do - and it will always work out amazingly. Things that sounds nutty at first have been the best experiences of my life. Iâm regularly up for new adventures.
Sometimes, I say stupid stuff, that gets taken wrong, and makes me feel like an ass. I have been known to apologize profusely - but can only do so if I actually mean it. I donât lie wellâ¦not that I have tried to lie well. Who wants to lie well anyway?
I possess the need for reckless abandon. If I find something amazing, I will jump on it. I donât understand holding back when there is no need to do so. I feel the need to live my life for all itâs worth.
I always want to meet new people when Iâm too swamped with everything else in my life. Why is that? Iâm an open book, and will answer nearly any question if I feel itâs sincere. I love challenges, but know when to give in.
Yes, I posted a while back. Met some cool people, but not someone I feel I âclickâ with in the way that I canât wait to make out with him at midnight or Iâd sneak away from the crazy friends to call and stuffâ¦
You: Early 20's to mid thirties. Ex-wives/husbands are OK as long as you donât plan to go back to them any time soon. Kids amuse me, but are in no way required. Non-smoker or smoker I don't really care, no drugs (of any kind....ganja a drug? lol). Someone who wants to date, have fun, enjoy the silly little things that come with having someone around. General love of sports and some outdoor activities would be awesome as well of video games, sci-fi and politics (I'm asking for a miracle lol).
Some spontaneity may possibly be required at times. The ability to randomly have lunch or rescue a crappy day with a drink at a dive bar would be admired.
