I love to perform. Acting and singing are my passions. I have recently realized that everyone I am close to is extremely passionate about some aspect of their life...I really can't see myself being friends with someone who doesn't have a fire burning in them somewhere.
Music I Like:
I am a Broadway junkie, but I like the newer stuff...Shows like "Showboat" and "Annie" can blow me hard.
I also like Incubus, System of a Down, Cake, Rufus Wainwright, Bob Marley, Miles Davis...pretty much any old jazz song. Also, I like music of the world. (such as rain falling, birds and crickets creating harmony, water songs)
Films I Like:
so many. It's hard to displease me when it comes to movies (much to the dismay of my critical friends). Some favorites include: Pan's Labyrinth, Cloverfield, Garden State, Office Space, The Goonies, Brainscan, Bad Santa, The Lion King, Aladdin, Little Miss Sunshine and Bad Santa. I love comedies and horrors above all others, but as I said, I can really love anything because its all about interpretation.
Literature I Like:

Hello creeps! I'm John. I think that Fall is the most beautiful season. Buffalo sauce (Franks Red Hot) makes ANY meal better. Ever since I was a young boy I have craved the spotlight...demanded it, really! I founded and run a musical theatre company at my university. I enjoy directing and performing in shows in NJ, PA, and DE as I have for about ten years. I tend to lean towards more funny/fantastic/zany/modern shows...I guess one could make a connection to my psyche through that!
When it comes to men, I can be old fashioned. I think that the relationships we have with other people are more important than anything. I don't randomly hook up (although I have had my moments) because I am looking for someone who is worthwhile.
Here are some things I like about other guys. It changes from guy to guy :p
-Intelligence. There's nothing sexier than a well-used brain. There is a line though...Einstein doesn't exactly give me wood
-Affectionate- A caress, well placed kiss, snuggle,will get you farther than a bj with me!
-Caring- I love it when guys know how to show they care about me. People tend to over think this one...it's all about the little things.
-Handsome- Duh. Ha, physical attraction of course is a biggum. I'd say I'm all about eyes and smile really. I also tend to go for fairly short guys (and exclusively younger than me, thus far....) I'm not a big fan of a lot of body hair...and (much) older guys don't do it for me. No lemon party, thanks
-Passionate- What do you love? What makes you alive? People with drive and a burning need for something make me melt. I love what I do and I have great expectations about my future...There's nothing more unappealing than a person who just exists.

I teach theater to elementary and middle school students in the summer and have recently begun musically directing a show at a local middle school. I would like to have one or two some day...I've always been great with kids

Lol I know what you mean about the shyness. Lmao I'm pretty much the same way. But if you like someone just go up to them, and ask them to dance or something. I did that before and the cute guy i asked said sure, and I got his number by the end of the night haha. Too bad he lived all the way in philly :/
