I grew up in a small city, well, small compared to the 5.5 million people I'm surrounded by now. I've always loved big cities, but I'm glad for my small city upbringing, I think I'm a better person for it.
I'm an intelligent guy, fun and adventurous, always willing to try something new. I love hitting the bars, dancing all night, but I also like quiet evenings with good conversation. I can be pretty loud and extroverted, so shy people make me nervous. I'm a big city boy, I love the hustle and bustle, but I need my time in the peace of the countryside (nothing is more relaxing and grounding than a good hike). When I'm in the mood, I can be carefree and frivolous, my only concern being how my hair looks and if my shoes go with my outfit, but I'm pretty serious, career-oriented and goal-driven. I need people around me that I can have intelligent, thought-provoking conversations with, even when we're spending all day shopping.
I'm good at everything I do. I know that sounds really egotistic, but it's not. What's the point of doing something if you're not going to do it well? I put a lot of time and effort into the things I do, whether it's something I love or something I'm trying for the first time. I'm not a man's man, but I wouldn't hesitate to get under the hood of a car with my man and learn how to take care of an engine.

After 10 years in my choosen career, I have decided to go back to school. I'm working towards my certification as a natural healthcare practioner. My choosen career afforded me many things, a great life, and amazing experiences, but it doesn't drive me the way it used to, so I felt it was time for a change. I'm not a complainer, once something isn't working for me, I make changes, keeping my life good, and my attitude optimistic.
Ideally, I'm looking for a LTR, but I have needs, so in the meantime, having some fun is not out of the question. I'm not a shy person, my life is an open book, so ask me anything, and I'll answer with complete honesty.
The only time I get shy is around a guy I like. I turn into a giddy 12 year old school girl. I've never asked a guy out, I always let them approach me. I'm sure I've lost out on some amazing experiences because of it, so it's something I would like to work on.

My ideal guy would be kind, intelligent, and not afraid to try something new. He would need to be confident with himself, no one's perfect, and I see no reason for that to hold someone back from doing what they want. We would have to be active, enjoying the outdoors, hiking, walking, camping, but also be the type of person that wants to spend quite time indoors, cuddled up infront of the tv, or willing to have an intelligent conversation about any subject. He would also enjoy time in the gym, instead of going just to 'keep his body perfect'. I love my time in the gym, but I allow my life to get in the way, giving me an excuse not to go, now that I no longer have my trainer. We would go together, and he'd have to push me to my limits.
