OK, first off. I spent all freaking day and most of last night redoing my website. It's still not entirely finished becuase the main banner & some of the icons aren't posting :( Currently, i'm on BoltBus heading up to NYC and still working on it! LOL (shoot me) website& myspace revamp

it's 8:10am in Rittenhouse Square Park, Philadelphia.
I just returned my rental car from touring this past weekend and brought my coffee to the park on my way to the apartment. taking a moment for myself in the bustle of the early city morning, I sit on a bench, (in loving memory of Ralph Caliri) the small plaque says.
7:30am came rather early but was worth it really. got hooked up at rental place cause i ended up with a clunker, (they know me by name there), got a coffee at starbucks while hottie totally smiled at me as I start to pour the milk into my tall to go cup. he smiled again, and asked for my number after a few kind words, and flirtatious banter.
Which brings me to my seat here. SHIT! I just got attacked by 2 squirrels!! Crazy fuckers, they were chasing each other and slaked into the back of my bench. Scared the he'll out of me, almost dropped my phone!
Anyway, as I sit here. watching all these people go by. Heading to their "real jobs", I wonder. Near by a dad races to meet his little son, pedaling a big wheel, by the iron goat statue a mere 40ft away. now he spins him around by both has and laughter comes from the grassy area they now play by. I wish I had a dad like that.
my mind wonders and I think about my friends. Fred, Daniel, Nick, Jenny, and as they battle the early morning clammier heading into work, as they usually do. Especially Fred. He usually gets on my case about the late breakfast hours I keep. Ha.
so I must go start being productive. Leaving for SF on Saturday And I have so much to do. I'll meet today with Dimitri also, for some music playin.

SO, my first official music video is finished!!!! The video release concert / birthday bash was amazing.. big thanks to my hometown philly fans and friends. There was even a cake and munchkins! Also, before it's official release, I did a series of acoustic video blogs away from home called "satellite sessions" while on tour. You can also watch them on my youtube channel where the video is.

i've been selected to perform out of 800+ applicants for the FALCON RIDGE FOLK FESTIVAL Emerging Artist Showcase!! the festival takes place in hillsdale, NY July 23-26th.
Also, my debut video release ON THE RUN, will be featured @ QFEST 2009 this year! the largest gay and lesbian film festival in the country held right in the city of brotherly love :) wee!

well, well.. it's been so long since my last blog. I mean come on.. it's MAY now! but i have good reason! My dell laptop has been on it's death bed for about 3 months.. last night after it took 20min for a pdf to load.. i just couldn't take it anymore and today.. I BOUGHT A MACBOOK! oh yes. i'm typing on it right now.. i'm not even tied to an outlet.. actually i'm in bed watching LOST (to dramatic for my taste).. but i'm loving the new mac life style. so easy.
I've been really busy the past month. Last weekend we shot my first ever official video right here in philly for my song, on the run. The crew was amazing and all the actors did very well. thanks everyone for a no-drama set lol. the video release will be this summer in conjunction with my birthday @ the Tin Angel. I'm waiting on a confirm from the club.. but august 8th is looking swell.
I also went on a little tour to a couple of my favorite places in PA, NY & DE. traveled up to wilkes barre, pa for a show @ twist. (stayed in the most disgusting hotel in Scranton, thx priceline) then to olean, ny @ mixers and up to ithaca of course for a killer night at Felicia's. Thanks to everyone who came out and all the new friends i made this trip. I had some down time up there and went to this kick ass farmers market on the weekend, it kinda reminds me of a cruisey outdoor bar, but with fresh local produce, reusable shopping totes and breakfast burritos! oh the ithaca crunch LOL On May 8th i played on the 93.7 WSTW Outdoor concert stage in Wilmington as part of the 89th annual flower market (big deal down in those parts) Had a nice time and even had some funnel cake!
Sooooo... i guess your wondering what i'm up to with music besides the video and touring. Well kids, i'm writing a new record. So many great changes have been happening lately. Some fucked up, some a blessing in disguise.. but all the same this change has been AMAZING for the process and i can't wait for you to hear some of it. take it easy tho.. ON THE RUN hasn't been out a year yet.. so give me a second or two :)
i'm off for now... have an early morning session at the gym.. WORK IT OUT! night `aj
was inside my apartment for the first half hour of earth hour tonight.
it takes place from 8:30-9:30pm today 3/28/09. I realized that being inside with the candles lit wasn't the best way to expirence this great event.
So, at about 9pm I walked out my door and made my way to the walnut street bridge facing east at the skyline. Liberty one and two are out along with a few others, I tried to get it all in this shot on my phone. it was great.
